Journalist shares if 'Glaring Issues' to arise with Everton takeover due to Roma situation

Dave Powell claims that nothing going on at Roma will impact the Friedkin Group’s quest to take charge at Everton.

The Liverpool Echo journalist stated on 20 November that an end-of-December timeline is what seems feasible at this moment.

As they’ve already invested and have money riding on it, they’re also keen on everything going ahead.

Speaking on the Royal Blue Podcast, Powell said at 20:46: “There won’t be any glaring issues. There’s nothing which is going on in Roma that will be impactful for that whatsoever. It will just be a case of as long as it takes. Hopefully by the end of December, seems feasible. They’ve already got money invested and riding on this.”

The Toffees are in a precarious situation as they’re battling relegation and find themselves in 16th place.

Off the pitch, they have the small matter of a takeover and as things stand, everything appears to be on track, so that isn’t something to worry about.

Fans have every reason to be excited about the Friedkins arriving and Farhad Moshiri leaving, but they will be hoping that things happen before the transfer window.

There are new players needed through the door if the Toffees are to avoid relegation and also an important decision needs to be made on Dyche’s future.

Hopefully, once the Premier League give their approval these big-picture decisions can be made if they’ve not yet made.

Apart from Dyche, there will be a lot of backroom hires as well and it remains to be seen if they happen all at once.
