King claims Tottenham outcast could move to Saudi Arabia this month amid transfer update

Bryan King claims Sergio Reguilón will still be keen to leave Tottenham this month.

The ex-Spurs scout has suggested the 27-year-old could move to Saudi Arabia, where the transfer window is still open.

It comes after Alasdair Gold reported via X (30 August), that Reguilón will still have the chance to leave Tottenham with various transfer windows across Europe still open.

And King – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – believes it will all come down to what kind of offer is on the table.

“I’d imagine that he is looking to get away from Tottenham and build a future elsewhere,” King said.

“He isn’t going to play under Ange Postecoglou. There is still a good opportunity for him to move on to a country where the transfer window is still open. Perhaps he will head to Saudi Arabia.

“It will all come down to how much that club is willing to pay and where he wants to move himself.”

Spurs did a good job at moving on unwanted players during the transfer window. While some supporters might not be entirely satisfied with the club’s incoming business, it would be hard to pick many flaws in the outgoing business.

However, one of the few flaws which could be pointed out is the failure to move on Reguilón.

However, there could still be opportunities for the Spaniard to secure his Tottenham exit over the next month. As a result, Spurs should be doing everything they can to ensure that happens.
