Alaves
While it is yet to be confirmed by either club, Atletico Madrid striker Carlos Martin is set to leave on loan to Alaves for a season. The 22-year-old scored 15 goals and gave 3 assists on loan at Mirandes in Segunda last season.

Meanwhile their signing of winger Tomas Conechny for €2m from Godoy Cruz has gone down well, following some excellent preseason performances. The 26-year-old is set for a big role under Luis Garcia Plaza.

Rayo Vallecano
Relevo are reporting that Rayo President Raul Martin Presa has set his sights on James Rodriguez. The 33-year-old is a free agent, and Presa wants to bring him in, in similar fashion to Radamel Falcao. They could enlist the help of Colombian sponsors to pay his wages.
Real Valladolid
Young left-winger Tunde Akinsola has left for Avs in Portugal, where he spent last season on loan. The 21-year-old Nigerian leaves two years after joining from Swedish football on a free. Relevo say La Pucela are also interested in taking Valencia centre-back Cenk Ozkacar on loan, as he is not part of Los Che’s plans.
