'Latest picture...' - Four Lads post new image of Ibrox construction ahead of Rangers return

Rangers have moved a step closer to welcoming fans to Ibrox after the latest update shared by Four Lads Had A Dream.

The podcast shared the “latest picture” via X on 12 September showing the Copland Road stand all but completed with gaps filled with seats.

This update comes before the Gers make their return to their home stadium on 21 September for their Premier Sports Cup tie with Dundee [Rangers.co.uk].

It has been a long time coming but it finally appears that the Light Blues are ready to return to Ibrox after being unable to play games at their home stadium this season due to the development work.

The delay to these works has been criticised by supporters with John Bennett facing the brunt of the criticism.

Rangers have been been playing home matches at Hampden Park due to the delay and the return to Ibrox will hopefully at least help to lift some of the gloom from a poor start to the campaign.

The worst Hampden result came against Dynamo Kyiv where a famous Ibrox atmosphere could have proved to be the difference maker in their bid to continue in Champions League qualifying.

Now it appears that the Copland Stand is ready with missing seats now look to have finally been filled.

This could be a huge boost to Philippe Clement and his squad after a rough patch of form, culminating with a humiliating 3-0 Old Firm defeat at Celtic prior to the international break, which left the Gers five points adrift of their rivals after only four games.

It may not be the solution to all the problems but could be a silver lining in a tough period for the Gers.
