Leeds United fans think Daniel Farke has threatened to walk away from the club amid fallout over a possible exit for Archie Gray.

Gray had been given permission to undergo a medical at Brentford after a deal was agreed, but reports now claim Leeds have rejected a proposal in a late twist.

Supporters believe an ultimatum from Farke prompted the late change of heart from the club’s owners, 49ers Enterprises.

However, an exit may still be on the cards for Gray, and several clubs are continuing to monitor the ongoing situation at Elland Road.

Football Insider revealed on 30 June that Tottenham are planning to make a late move for the 18-year-old in a bid to pip Brentford to his signature.

Gray made 52 appearances for Farke’s side in his breakthrough season last time out, and the boss is said to be desperate to hold on to him this summer.

Fans were initially fuming at the owners after the initial deal was reportedly in place, but following the latest twist, speculation over Farke’s future and the club’s position has begun to grow.
