Liverpool are continuing contact with the representatives of Lille defender Leny Yoro, sources have told Football Insider.

The Reds are in direct talks with the 18-year-old’s camp as they prepare to pounce on a potential twist in his anticipated move to Real Madrid.

Yoro has informed his representatives of his desire to join Los Blancos this summer, but Liverpool are ready to take advantage if negotiations collapse.

The Spanish champions are yet to strike an agreement with the teenager or Lille, but talks are advancing over the potential move.
