Liverpool are reportedly willing to go “all out” to sign Bayer Leverkusen attacking midfielder Florian Wirtz.
Arne Slot wants to provide competition in that area of the pitch for Dominik Szobszlai, but he will face competition from Real Madrid and Man City to secure the 21-year-old’s signature.
According to Diego Mengual of DefensaCentral, Liverpool are willing to pay £100.6million to sign the German international.
That is the asking price from the Bundesliga giants, but Wirtz is said to have no immediate desire to leave the club and has a good relationship with Xabi Alonso.
Real Madrid are reportedly in pole position to sign him, while Man City are also viewing Wirtz as a possible long-term replacement for Kevin de Bruyne.
The Belgium international is out of contract at the Etihad Stadium next summer.

Wirtz is currently under contract at Bayer Leverkusen until 2027, but his performances have brought interest from several of Europe’s elite football clubs.
The attacking midfielder has started the 2024-25 campaign impressively by scoring six goals and providing one assist in seven appearances across all competitions.
Throughout his time at Bayer Leverkusen he has made 159 appearances, scoring 47 times and providing 51 assists.
Liverpool were left frustrated in the summer after struggling to bolster the squad, missing out on top target Martin Zubimendi.
