Southampton loanee Shea Charles has been impressive on loan at Sheffield Wednesday this season, and he has also impressed for Northern Ireland.
Indeed, Liverpool defender and international teammate Conor Bradley has praised the Saints ace on Instagram after his efforts on Tuesday night.
In August, Southampton allowed Charles to link up with Sheffield Wednesday for the entirety of the 2024/25 campaign.
The 20-year-old midfielder made 35 appearances for Southampton last season as won promotion from the Championship via the playoffs.
However, Charles lost his place in Russell Martin’s Saints squad following several additions in midfield over the summer.
Charles has made six appearances for Wednesday, playing in every Championship game for his side since arriving.
The Southampton loanee has also impressed for Northern Ireland this month, helping his nation remain unbeaten during the October break.
They drew 0-0 in Belarus before thumping Bulgaria on home soil, and Charles registered an assist in the latter game, setting up Isaac Price for his hat-trick goal.
Charles took to Instagram on Wednesday to praise his teammates and the nation’s fans, and Liverpool’s Bradley was among those to respond in the comments.
He wrote: “Unbelievable win and performance!! Thank you for your support last night.” And Bradley responded with a heart-eyed emoji along with a heart.

What has Russell Martin said about Shea Charles of late?
Southampton boss Russell Martin recently spoke about how good Charles’ loan at Sheffield Wednesday will be for his development.
“He’s probably doing Baz’s (Barry Bannan’s) running,” Martin joked when speaking to the Daily Echo last week. “What is he now, 34? I’m pretty sure Shea has made his job easier.
“He will also give him the ball with a lot of love, care and detail as well. We watched him play against Bristol City and he did some really good things.
“He’s learning – and this is why it will be so important for him, rather than being in and around the first team as an option because the Premier League is such a big jump.
“He’s there, he’s learning and he’s playing in really big games. This loan period will be so good for him.
“We are really pleased for him. I’m also very pleased for Barry. Baz is an outstanding footballer, one of the most talented ones I’ve played with.
“He’s still going strong. People like him, Josh Windass, all those guys that have experience will help Shea a lot.
“I hope Shea is enjoying it. Gilly (assistant manager Matt Gill) has spoken to him a fair bit and he seems to be enjoying it. He’s got to keep going and keep growing.”
