Man United Exclusive: 'Huge' Marcus Rashford update tonight

Man United star Marcus Rashford is “unlikely” to leave the club this summer, sources have told Football Insider.

United are believed to open to offers for most of their first-team squad after a poor 2023-24 campaign and the arrival of new owners INEOS.

However, sources say Rashford remains determined to come back and prove his worth next term after a difficult season personally.

Paris Saint-Germain are among the sides to have been linked with the England international, who was left out of the the Three Lions squad for the European Championships in Germany.

However, a well-placed source has told Football Insider that Man United would demand a “huge” fee for the forward.

Man United demanding ‘huge’ Rashford fee

Interested clubs would also have to match Rashford’s astronomical salary, which reportedly stands at £375,000 a week.

He signed a new deal at Old Trafford just last year (2023), keeping him at the club until June 2028.

Rashford managed just eight goals and five assists from 43 appearances across all competitions in the 2023-24 campaign.

35 of those outings came as part of the starting lineup, but the forward ended the season as a regular feature on the substitute bench.

He came through the club’s academy and has notched 131 Red Devils goals since making his debut in 2016.
