Man United fans have been stunned by Scott McTominay since his move to Napoli as a new highlights package emerged on social media.

The 27-year-old starred in his side’s 0-0 draw with Juventus in Turin, catching the eye of the supporters with his technique and ability in possession.

While there were no goals in the game, McTominay was seen gliding past his opponents and creating chances for his teammates, while getting on the end of some himself.

Having left England in favour of a move to Italy on transfer deadline day, it appears the midfielder has already settled well in the Serie A.

McTominay was often on the wrong end of criticism during his time at United, and was many fans’ scapegoat for what has been a turbulent few years at Old Trafford.

However, he is now showing his former club what they are missing, with Napoli currently sitting second in the league while United are 11th as things stand.

McTominay’s sale in the summer helped the club comply with the Premier League’s profit and sustainability rules through the pure profit from the sale of a homegrown player.

The Scotland international made 255 appearances for United after progressing through the academy setup at Old Trafford, but never managed to establish himself as a nailed-on starter.

However, his transformation since the move to Napoli has left Man United fans stunned as they took to social media in reaction to the match footage.
