Man United fans thrilled as 'huge' Sky Sports footage emerges

Man United supporters have been left thrilled as Ruben Amorim has been handed some positive injury news ahead of their Europa League game against Bodo/Glimt on Thursday (28 November).

Sky Sports shared footage of Harry Maguire and Lisandro Martinez being back in training with the rest of the squad, bolstering Amorim’s defensive options.

Both defenders were unavailable for Amorim’s first game in charge this past Sunday as United drew 1-1 against Ipswich Town in the Premier League.

Martinez had suffered a back injury during United’s 3-0 win against Leicester City which led to him withdrawing from the Argentina squad for the recent international break.

Maguire has had a longer spell on the sidelines as he hasn’t played since the goalless draw against Aston Villa on October 6, where he suffered a muscle injury.

Whether either man will be fit enough to start in the upcoming European clash will remain to be seen, but having them back as options is a boost for the 20-time champions.

Man United fans are overjoyed at the double injury boost

Amorim started Jonny Evans, Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui as his back three against Ipswich, but he now has two more experienced options available.

United supporters were thrilled by the double injury boost ahead of Thursday’s fixture, with one claiming it’s “the best news” they have heard all day.
