Man United are reportedly willing to sign Bayern Munich’s Kingsley Coman when the January transfer window opens.
According to Caught Offside, United will only consider trying to buy the 28-year-old if he can prove that he is can stay injury-free until the window opens in 2025.
Bayern Munich want to sell him, but his fitness has proven to be a concern for the Premier League giants after an injury-plagued 2023-24 campaign.
Coman missed 16 Bundesliga games last season due to several injuries which have raised question marks over him as a long term option.
The France international is currently under contract with Bayern Munich until 2027.
Man United could enhance their attacking options with Kingsley Coman
Despite his recent fitness struggles, Coman has the potential to be a valuable asset to any team due to his ability to play on both wings.
Coman has scored 64 goals and provided 66 assists throughout his 297 appearances for Bayern Munich, highlighting his attacking qualities.
Erik ten Hag was financially backed in summer as the club signed Matthijs de Ligt, Joshua Zirkzee, Noussair Mazraoui, Leny Yoro, and Manuel Ugarte, but the United boss is still looking to enhance his squad even further.
Coman isn’t the only winger who Man United are monitoring ahead of upcoming transfer windows.
