Man United Exclusive: Big Adrien Rabiot update tonight

Man United are currently finding a free transfer swoop for Adrien Rabiot too expensive, sources have told Football Insider.

Talks are ongoing between United and the France international midfielder following his Juventus release earlier this year.

Rabiot, 29, and his representatives are working hard to fix him up with a new club with the 2024-25 campaign well underway.

The midfielder is one of the highest-profile free agents still available but was left out of the most recent France squad as he is unattached.

Nevertheless, his demands remain too costly for Man United – who are long-term admirers of Rabiot.

He is also a target for clubs in Turkey and Saudi Arabia.

Rabiot currently too expensive for Man United

The left-footer played regularly for France at Euro 2024 as they were eliminated by eventual winners Spain.

Rabiot made 35 appearances across all competitions for Juventus last term, notching five goals and three assists.

The 29-year-old has won seven domestic titles in Italy and France during his trophy-laden career.

Man United signed Manuel Ugarte in the summer window but simultaneously lost Scott McTominay to Napoli.

Meanwhile, Casemiro has been panned by fans and pundits alike for his recent performances for the Red Devils.
