Nottingham Forest fans are all saying the same thing about Elliot Anderson after the Carabao Cup draw was confirmed on Wednesday (14 August).

Forest will face a visit from Newcastle at the City Ground in the second round of the League Cup on 27 August, meaning it will be an early reunion for Anderson.

The two clubs were not scheduled to meet until 9 November in the Premier League.

Newcastle’s academy graduate made a £35million move to the City Ground earlier this summer, while Forest keeper Odysseas Vlachodimos moved the other way.

Now, fans are predicting both players to have an impact on the game, with Forest supporters insisting Anderson will be the one to score the winning goal.

The 21-year-old has made an impressive start to his career under Nuno Espirito Santo with his performances in pre-season, and will be looking to carry that into their competitive fixtures.
