Nottingham Forest told to accept Panzo offer after deal agreed - fans react

Nottingham Forest fans have called for the club to let Jonathan Panzo leave on a permanent deal after he completed a loan to Rio Ave.

Panzo finalised a season-long loan move to the Portuguese side, also owned by Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis, on 17 July.

This will be his fourth loan spell since joining Forest in January 2022, having previously represented Coventry, Cardiff and Standard Liege.

The defender has played just one game for Forest, with fans questioning how long he would be at the club before he is let go.

Given the number of loan moves in recent years, there have been calls to let him leave for good rather than continue with him on the books.

Panzo joined Forest for a fee of £1.5million in January 2022 but has never been able to make his mark on the first team and it now looks likely he will never pay for them again.

Fans demanded he be sold permanently while some called for him to be released, and with just one year left on his deal, the latter option seems most likely.
