Man City manager Pep Guardiola has been branded a “success junkie,” as he has been tipped to extend his stay with the defending Premier League champions.
Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, former Leeds goalkeeper Paul Robinson admitted he believes Man City will “go on to further success with him.”
The Spaniard’s contract at the Etihad Stadium expires at the end of this season, which has led to questions over his future.

“Where do you go from Manchester City, one of the strongest, richest, most powerful clubs in the world?” Robinson asked Football Insider.
“The options are few and far between for him. International management, is that an option?
“As long as he’s got the hunger, desire, drive, and the will every day to get up and drive himself to the next level like he has done for the last however many years and win trophies and compete, his job at Manchester City is his for as long as he wants it.
“It’s going to be a case similar to Jurgen Klopp; when he decides that he needs a break and he wants a rest from it, that’s when it will come.
“My gut feeling, he looks like an addict to me, he looks like it’s a drug to him.
“He wants more success in Europe and he’s a success junkie, and you can see what he does there, the stability of the club, the backing that he’s had over the years, the way that he develops that side.
“Is it his last year?
“No, I think that they’ll go on to further success with him.”
