Player puts house up for sale as Everton want to sign him, loan wanted - report

Kieran Trippier has put his house up for sale this summer as new links emerge over a move to Everton before 30 August, according to iNews.

The online source reported [22 August] that the 33-year-old’s house in Northumberland has been on the market, with the player currently unhappy and wanting to leave Newcastle United this summer.

It is understood that Trippier has handed in a transfer request at St James’ Park, as per the Telegraph, with the Toffees keen on striking a loan deal for him [David Ornstein].

Sean Dyche is said to be an admirer of the England international, having worked together at Burnley, but a move to Goodison Park would immediately put him in the top wage bracket, with a current salary of £140,000-a-week [The Times].

Everton to sign wantaway Newcastle United star Kieran Trippier?

The Toffees must improve their current right-back situation before the summer transfer window closes on 30 August.

With both Seamus Coleman and Nathan Patterson on the treatment table, it seems Dyche can no longer put his trust in Ashley Young after the veteran was sent off against Brighton last weekend.

The manager has been left with limited choices in the position, with many calling for him to utilise the talent coming through at Finch Farm, though he is not sold on the idea.

Trippier, despite his outrageous wage, would arrive with endless amounts of experience, having accumulated nearly 200 Premier League appearances and 54 caps for England.

Everton are in pursuit of Newcastle United ace Kieran Trippier.

Although his injury record is also not squeaky clean, at least not in recent seasons, he is the kind of leading figure that Dyche will be after before the transfer window closes in eight days.

Trippier seems to have gotten the ball rolling by putting his house up for sale, but the Merseyside club will need to quicken up the pace if they are to secure his signature before 30 August.
