Rangers fans can’t believe what Cyriel Dessers did in 2-1 win v Motherwell

Rangers fans were left impressed by Cyriel Dessers’ performance in their first win of the season.

After scoring a last-minute equaliser against Dynamo Kyiv in midweek, the striker found the back of the net again in the 2-1 triumph against Motherwell.

The Scottish giants secured their first win of the season against Motherwell at Hampden Park.

Rangers kickstarted their 2024-25 season with a goalless draw against Hearts, but Philippe Clement’s men got back on track immediately in an impressive performance.

Dessers suffered from inconsistency in his first season at Ibrox, which led to some calls for him to be sold this summer.

But after two goals in their opening three matches, the 29-year-old is quickly proving his doubters wrong and gaining plenty of plaudits.

Rangers fans left impressed by ‘positive’ Cyriel Dessers performance

Dessers opened the scoring in the 13th minute of the game, with Vaclav Cerny adding to it as the Gers secured a 2-1 win.

Fans flocked to social media to praise his performance, which was branded as “positive” as others claimed he was “very, very good.”

We can play some decent stuff somehow when we have a left winger who is once again hiding and a 10 who just isn’t an actual progressive 10.
