Leeds fans rip into Aaronson as footage from 3-3 Portsmouth draw re-analysed

Leeds United fans were left feeling angry at Brenden Aaronson as he missed a last-minute sitter against Portsmouth.

The American went from hero to zero in the space of minutes at Elland Road after originally in the 92nd minute to rescue a point for the Whites.

Aaronson then had the chance to win Leeds the game with an even easier opportunity in the dying embers of the match, but the 23-year-old put his shot wide.

It was a missed opportunity for Leeds to steal all three points despite being behind twice in the game.

Instead, his chance was wasted and the West Yorkshire giants were had to share the spoils with the newly promoted side.

Aaronson had come off the bench and made an impact, but supporters could only remember his miss when the final whistle blew.

Aaronson was called “useless” by fans on social media for the opportunity he scuppered.
