Rangers fans fume at 'utter disgrace' after Sky Sports update

Rangers supporters online have continued to express their frustration at current events enveloping the club.

Following news that redevelopment works on the Copland Stand at Ibrox are not set to be completed ahead of the start of next season due to shipping delays [Sky Sports, 20 June], fans were up in arms.

The mood in the Gers fanbase has not been altered much either by the club’s signings so far, with Connor Barron from Aberdeen so far the only recruit to have played in Scotland – albeit just 59 times in the Scottish Premiership.

Sources have told Football Insider [22 June] that a move for Bayern Munich winger Yusuf Kabadayi was at the “very advanced” stage, but even a new face from the German giants has barely raised spirits.

Philippe Clement and the Rangers recruitment staff are currently working through the hours to oversee a major squad turnover at the club ahead of further battles with Celtic for silverware.

Rangers know it will take a lot this summer to convince the club’s ardent support that there is enough in the tank both on and off the pitch for next season to topple Celtic.
