Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Liverpool are likely to be busy on the transfer front in the coming weeks as the various dominoes start to fall.
The Lilywhites, the Gunners and the Reds have been fairly quiet in the market, with just one first-team signing between them.
Tottenham signed Archie Gray from Leeds earlier this summer, while Arsenal and Liverpool are yet to officially get off the mark.
All three clubs have been linked with a “world-class” Euro 2024 forward over the past few weeks.
Now a report has emerged claiming Tottenham hold a key advantage over Arsenal and Liverpool in pursuit of the player.

Fabio Paratici factor may give Tottenham advantage in Federico Chiesa race
The player in question is Juventus attacker Federico Chiesa, who has been linked with a move away from Turin this summer.
FootballTransfers have reported that Tottenham, Arsenal, Liverpool, Newcastle and some Saudi clubs are all keen on Chiesa.
New Juve boss Thiago Motta apparently has doubts over the 27-year-old’s suitability for the system he is trying to implement.
As a result, the Serie A giants are said to be sounding out the market for Chiesa, who has a price tag of between £21-25million ace.
With regards to Tottenham’s advantage, FootballTransfers report that Spurs have an excellent relationship with Chiesa’s representatives.
In addition, there is also the presence of Fabio Paratici that could work in the Lilywhites’ favour, suggested the report.
Paratici signed Chiesa for Juventus in 2020 and, though he resigned as Tottenham’s director in April 2023, he reportedly remains in contact with Spurs’ recruitment department.
The 52-year-old is said to have advised Tottenham during last summer’s transfer window, while Ange Postecoglou revealed in January that “every now and then we’ll exchange messages or calls.”
Paratici apparently still has a healthy relationship with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy and, according to the report, he remains a figure with some influence behind the scenes at N17.
That said, the report claims it will still not be an easy deal for Tottenham to pull off, because the situation is said to be at a stand-off.
Chiesa’s representatives are apparently waiting for a club to make the first move, but so far, nothing has materialised.
Chiesa once tipped to become ‘best player in Europe’
Chiesa has been superb for Juve over the years and, at 26 years of age, he’s entering his prime, making him a prime candidate to join a Premier League club.
He has made 131 appearances for the Turin-based outfit, grabbing 34 goals and 25 assists, and has also won 51 caps for Italy, scoring seven times.
Former Italy boss Cesare Prandelli told La Nazione in 2020, via Goal.com: “Chiesa must specialise in what he feels is his natural tactical position.
“If he does this, he will become the best player in Europe.”
Meanwhile, former Italy defender Alessandro Pierini described Chiesa to Tuttomercatoweb – via Forza Italian Football – as “world-class” back in 2021.
Tottenham will fancy their chances of beating the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Newcastle to Chiesa, but it looks as though nobody has made the first move yet.
