Takehiro Tomiyasu remains happy at Arsenal despite links with Serie A giants Inter Milan, sources have told Football Insider.
The 25-year-old, who is currently sidelined through injury, has been widely linked with Inter ahead of the January transfer window.
Sources say multiple other Italian sides are also monitoring his situation after his time with Bologna in Serie A.
However, the versatile defender is happy to remain with Arsenal after recently signing a new deal.
Tomiyasu didn’t play a minute in pre-season and is yet to feature in a matchday squad this term.
The Japan international will have to compete for a place in Mikel Arteta’s squad upon his return following the signing of Riccardo Calafiori and Jurrien Timber’s return to fitness.
Tomiyasu only signed a new contract at Arsenal in March – keeping him at the Emirates Stadium until the summer of 2026.

Mikel Arteta’s side also hold the option to extend his deal a further 12 months.
Tomiyasu made 30 appearances for Arsenal last term but once again saw his involvement limited by injury.
He has made 83 appearances in total for Arteta’s side since signing from Bologna in 2021.
Arsenal have kicked off the new season with 11 points from a possible 15 after drawing against Brighton and Man City.
