Chris Sutton has slammed an Everton fan for suggesting that Sean Dyche should be sacked.
The Toffees kicked off their Premier League campaign in disappointing circumstances, losing 3-0 to Brighton at Goodison Park.
This sparked one supporter to speak out on BBC 5 Live on 17 August and say that Dyche “needs to go”.
It is safe to say that Sutton did not agree with this, taking to X to say: “Is it fair to sack Sean Dyche after one game?? This is ridiculous and totally unfair imo but what do you think?”

The end of last season was superb for the Toffees with the results towards the end of the campaign being top drawer.
This saw Dyche guide the club away from relegation with ease despite the financial uncertainty and points deductions the club had to face.
As a result, the former Burnley boss almost certainly has plenty of credit in the bank as he looks forward to the rest of the Premier League season.
With that being said, it appears that he isn’t backed completely by the Goodison faithful after a poor opening-day result.
Brighton are a top side and showed that with their performance so a defeat isn’t the end of the world in that sense.
The clash was only made more difficult when Ashley Young was sent off for a last-man foul on Kaoru Mitoma.
It wasn’t the result that anyone wanted to start a new campaign but it is too early to demand a sacking.
