Tottenham forward Richarlison has taken to social media to support Dele Alli after he announced he would be moving on from Everton.
Alli’s Everton contract expired at the end of last season but the 28-year-old was allowed to use the club’s training facilities in the hopes of regaining fitness and earning a new deal.
Alli has been offered the chance to work on his fitness with the Serie A side Como in the new year as he endeavours to kick-start his fortunes after almost two years on the sidelines.
Numerous injury issues mean Alli’s last competitive appearance came while on loan from the Merseyside club at Turkish side Besiktas nearly two years ago, in February 2023.

Richarlison, 27, has had his own injury troubles to contend with this season, missing Tottenham’s last 11 games after picking up a hamstring injury in their 4-1 win over Aston Villa earlier in the season.
The Brazilian has started just one of his seven appearances across all competitions, scoring one goal, and providing one assist in 173 minutes of action.
The Tottenham forward took to Instagram to respond to his statement and show his support.
Tottenham will face Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday (December 22) knowing that a win would take them as high as sixth and reignite their hopes of European qualification.
Ange Postecoglu’s unpredictable side currently sit in tenth with seven wins, two draws, and seven defeats from their 16 games.
