Jesper Lindstrom failed to perform for Everton against Brentford on Saturday and his performance could contribute to the sacking of Sean Dyche.

Everton failed to take advantage of 10-man Brentford on 23 November with the Toffees looking toothless in front of goal once again in a 0-0 draw at Goodison Park.

The Merseyside club have won just twice since the start of the season, with Dyche under heavy scrutiny.

Jesper Lindstrom disappoints again for Everton

Lindstrom’s performance against Brentford, to cut it short, was terrible. The winger failed to have any positive influence on the game.

According to FotMob, the Dane failed to complete a single dribble throughout the 72 minutes he was on the pitch before being hooked as the Toffees looked to take advantage in the game.

Dribbling wasn’t his only downfall in the game, with Lindstrom also failing to complete a single cross despite five attempts.

Much of Everton’s downfall under Dyche has been the lack of creativity provided by their attacking players and being able to simply put a good ball into the area can often be the difference between a point and three but Lindstrom failed to deliver.

With a 0 per cent shot accuracy, his attacking woes were summed up with the Toffees almost playing the game 10 v 10 with his lack of positive involvement.

The winger didn’t make up for it defensively either. Having lost seven of the nine defensive duels he was involved in, failing to make a single tackle in the process.

A trip to Old Trafford to face Man United is up next for the Toffees and his inclusion in the starting 11 would come as a huge shock.

In other Everton news, David Moyes could be in line for a return to Goodison Park.
