Sean Dyche could risk being sacked by Everton if Dan Friedkin allows Beto to leave in January.
The Toffees boss is already coming under fire at Goodison Park after an up-and-down start to the campaign.
It is safe to say this pressure is only being intensified by the prospect of the US billionaire coming in who appears to be keen to stamp his mark on Merseyside.
This has seen David Moyes be linked with a return [Alan Nixon] which would leave Dyche at risk of losing his job.
If the ex-Burnley man wants to keep his job, keeping hold of Beto could prove to be a wise move after what happened in the draw against Brentford.
Sean Dyche should keep Beto to avoid Everton sack
The 26-year-old could be set to make a loan move back to Italy when Friedkin completes his takeover with a view to increasing his value after a difficult spell since signing [Calcio Mercato].
This could prove to be a risk for Dyche, especially after the lack of clinicality that was shown against the Bees on Saturday 23 November.
The Toffees registered 27 shots on goal at Goodison but just five of those were on target as the scoreline remained goalless [FotMob].
Dominic Calvert-Lewin accounted for five of these efforts but, like everyone else, was unable to find the back of the net.
Beto was available off the bench and was afforded just 18 minutes of action and still managed to get three shots off despite having just 12 touches.
This could point towards it being beneficial for Everton to hand the Guinea-Bissau international more starts ahead of the Englishman.
He has never been truly handed a regular chance to start since joining from Udinese and with the poor form of Calvert-Lewin, this could be the chance for Dyche to give him a go.
This could save him from the sack which Friedkin appears to have in his mind ahead of his takeover in the coming weeks or months.
