Report: Spurs want their third highest fee ever after interest emerges in their 'world-class' attacking player

Tottenham are open to selling players this summer but Daniel Levy is demanding a mega sum if he is to sanction the exit of one star.

Spurs are looking like being active in the next few weeks and have made moves already in the market to re-shape their squad.

Archie Gray has arrived in a big money deal from Leeds, while Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is close to signing for Marseille.

However, more incomings and outgoings are expected and Ange Postecoglou is expected to sign off on certain players being allowed to leave.

One of the players who is on that list of potential sales is Brazilian striker, Richarlison.

Club in Saudi Arabia are being linked with a move for Richarlison after his struggles since signing from Everton.

But according to The Times, it’s going to take a huge sum to prize him away from north London.

Tottenham demanding £60m fee to consider Richarlison sale

According to the report from The Times, Tottenham have put a huge value of around £60m on the head of Richarlison.

It’s claimed in the report that interest from Saudi Arabia is very much there for the striker.

However, Tottenham want to get the money back they paid for the striker as they look to ensure they don’t lose out financially.

Of course, selling Richarlison for £60m would represent a big sum for the club.

Indeed, only two players, Harry Kane and Gareth Bale, have been sold for more than that in the entire history of the club.

For Richarlison, who is believed to want to stay and prove himself at Spurs, a move to Saudi may well end up being forced on him if Spurs accept a bid.

Quite whether he would take the money and run remains to be seen.

But with the Saudi League set to test the Premier League’s resolve again this summer, this is certainly a deal to look out for.
