Alphonso Davies says 'incredible' player Arsenal want to sign is actually better than Bukayo Saka

Arsenal are expected to make at least one big signing in the summer of 2025.

The Gunners have been improving season after season under Mikel Arteta. They finished second in each of the last two Premier League campaigns, and that could be the case again this term.

Irrespective of what happens, Arsenal need to sign a big player or two next summer, and they have already been linked with a few huge names.

Alphonso Davies is a big fan of one of them.

Jamal Musiala is one of the best players in the world.

The German has been fantastic for Bayern Munich. He scored 12 goals and provided eight assists in the 2023/24 season and has already scored 14 and assisted six this term.

The 21-year-old is a superstar, and a number of clubs in the Premier League are interested in signing him in the summer of 2025.

TBR Football exclusively revealed back in September that Arsenal have joined the race to sign Musiala, who is also wanted by Manchester City and Liverpool.

We also confirmed in December that Arsenal have been in regular contact with Musiala’s representatives over a move in 2025.

Now, in a video on Fiago’s social channels, a number of names were thrown in front of Alphonso Davies and the left-back was asked to pick between them and Musiala.

Among the names were Arsenal duo Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard. However, Davies picked Musiala ahead of both of them.

Should Arsenal sign Jamal Musiala in 2025?

Arsenal need players who will take them to the next level.

The Gunners have come extremely close to winning the Premier League title in each of the last two seasons. They just haven’t been able to get over the line in the end.

Many fans feel a prolific striker is what the Gunners are missing, but Musiala, who can play in either wing and also as a number 10, would be a great addition too.

The German, hailed as ‘incredible’ by Kyle Walker on Sky Sports, has directly contributed to over 20 goals in every campaign since 2022/23. He is on track to get over 35 goals and assists this season.

That sort of output is exactly what Arsenal need, so we think they should get him if they can in the summer of 2025.
