TBR Football can exclusively confirm that Matheus Cunha is a target for the likes of Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool and Newcastle United.
The Wolverhampton Wanderers star has made a real name for himself in the Premier League, which has led to some of England’s biggest clubs casting their eyes on him.
Cunha was in particularly fine form against Manchester United on Boxing Day as he scored and assisted to help Wolves run out 2-0 winners over Ruben Amorim’s side at Molineux.
With the January transfer window now just days away, TBR Football can reveal Cunha’s stance towards a potential move and what his camp have told Wolves.

Matheus Cunha’s camp won’t push for January move away from Wolves
TBR Football correspondent Graeme Bailey understands that Matheus Cunha will not try and force a move away from Wolves in January.
Cunha has been in sparkling form for the Black Country outfit despite their struggles this term with 14 goal contributions to his name.
His form has attracted glances of a number of sides with Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool and Newcastle United keeping tabs on him in recent months.
Cunha’s camp are aware of interest that is also coming from abroad with the Saudi Pro League watching developments.
However, TBR Football has been informed that his people have made it clear to Wolves that they won’t be making a push for a January move, despite any interest.
Wolves have long insisted that star men Cunha and Rayan Ait Nouri won’t be allowed to leave – but they have a history of selling their big names – which was seen in the summer when Max Kilman and Pedro Neto departed Molineux.
Wolves sources insist that they hope to hold talks with Cunha over a new deal – with current contract due to run until 2027.
Matheus Cunha style of play
Cunha is a versatile forward who has been used in a variety of roles at Wolves, as Premier League pundit Adrian Clarke wrote on the official league website earlier this year.
At Wolves, Cunha ‘either plays as a roving centre-forward or as a left-sided No. 10 in a 3-4-2-1, and from those areas it is his beautifully-balanced ball carrying which frightens defenders most.’
Sky Sports, meanwhile, described Cunha last year as ‘a player with almost every key attribute – pace, power and skill.’
The outlet quotes Gary O’Neil as saying: “At this moment, he is probably best as one of the support strikers rather than the main No. 9 who needs to stretch the line and be that guy who is always a goal threat. Because he wants to do more.”
Cunha was praised by Man United fans after his heroics on Boxing Day as they called for the club to sign him.
