Armando Broja must prove himself to Sean Dyche with Beto now potentially set to leave Everton on loan in the upcoming January transfer window.

The Albanian international completed a loan move to the Toffees on deadline day but has failed to make a single appearance for the club since.

This is due to an injury sustained during pre-season with Chelsea, last featuring in a competitive match in June, coming off the bench against Spain during EURO 2024.

The Friedkin Group are willing to let Beto leave on loan for the second half of the season to build up some value, which has dropped to around £16.7million [Calciomercato].

This would leave Dyche with Dominic Calvert-Lewin as his only fit Premier League striker with Youssef Chermiti lacking in experience at this stage of his career.

Armando Broja must step up for Everton after Beto transfer update

As a result, there could be a chance that Broja could be forced into the side and will need to hit the ground running as soon as possible.

This could be just the opportunity that the striker needs as he has shown in the past, during his loan with Southampton, if he is the main man, he can be electric.

He netted nine goals for the Saints in the 2021/22 season, which saw his parent club give him a chance but things just haven’t worked out since.

With Beto seemingly staring the exit door in the face, the Albanian must take the most of this chance when he returns to fitness at Goodison.

In other Aston Villa news, Tim Iroegbunam has instantly reacted as an Aston Villa retirement has been confirmed.
