Everton take on Brentford on Saturday and Sean Dyche could be making three changes to the side that drew against West Ham on 9 November.

The Toffees will be playing host to the Bees on 23 November and Dyche will be keen on ensuring his side returns to winning ways.

Currently, they sit in 16th place and a win could see them end the weekend in 14th, ahead of West Ham – provided they drop points.

Jarrad Branthwaite may be unavailable for Everton v Brentford

Dyche may not be able to pick Jarrad Branthwaite even if he’d want to, given his injury over the international break.

Even if he’s returned to training and has been cleared, the Toffees manager may be advised to only give him 30 minutes of play.

There’s a good chance Michael Keane is brought back into the playing eleven with Branthwaite either moving to the bench or not being in the squad if he’s not been cleared.

The second change would be Dwight McNeil coming in for Orel Mangala with Abdoulaye Doucoure playing a more withdrawn role alongside Idrissa Gueye.

Dwight McNeil has starred for Everton this season

McNeil has been in red-hot form but missed the game against the Hammers due to a knee injury, and while he remains a doubt, he could be ready to start, provided he’s trained well over the past few days.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who has not found the back of the net since September, is certainly adding to Dyche’s woes and it’s time Beto is handed his first start of the Premier League season.

The Portuguese striker scores a goal every 96 minutes in the league in comparison to Calvert-Lewin’s one in 450 minutes so it’s pretty clear who the more clinical option is.

In other Everton news, a Toffees managerial target has already applied to another English leaving, making things urgent for The Friedkin Group.
