Dejan Kulusevski must be axed from Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham starting XI after what he did against Crystal Palace on Sunday (27 October).
Spurs have had a strange season thus far as they find themselves eighth in the Premier League and five points away from the Champions League spots.
Postecoglou rarely changes his team much with most of the players who started against the Eagles featuring in their 4-1 victory over West Ham but, after Kulusevski’s performance against Oliver Glasner’s men, it feels like the Australian hasn’t been left with much choice.

Jean Philippe-Mateta’s 31st-minute strike was what ended up separating the two teams by the end of the clash and resulted in Spurs dropping all three points.
The Sweden international may have been played somewhat out of position in the game against the Eagles but this isn’t much of an excuse as he’s already been used there four times this season.
As per Sofascore, the attacker was one of the worst-performing players on the pitch against Palace and only managed 62 minutes on the field, having just 32 touches of the ball, the lowest of any of the midfield three he was partnered alongside.
While 73 per cent of his passes were accurate, only one of them ended up being a key pass in the end, however, it didn’t lead towards anything.
In terms of crosses and long balls, zero per cent of his crosses were accurate but fortunately for the 24-year-old, the one long ball he attempted was on target.
Defensively, Kulusevski also left a lot to be desired, he only won 25 per cent of his ground duels and 100 per cent of those attempted in the air.
He also lost possession of the ball eight times, committed four fouls, made one interception and was also dribbled past once.
Spurs have several options within their ranks who could be used over the Swede such as Pape Matar Sarr, Rodrigo Bentancur and Archie Gray.
The latter of the three could well be on his way out in January but until then, it feels like he still has a lot to offer the Lilywhites and what better time to do so than when a regular first-teamer is out of form.
In other Tottenham news, Spurs are showing an interest in Arsenal youngster Karl Hein.
