Tottenham have announced a brand-new partnership with digital finance company Ant International, with another boost set within days.

Spurs announced via their website on 12 September that they had agreed on a three-year deal with Ant International, who will become the club’s official global payment solutions and digital wallet partner.

Ant International will also feature on the club’s training kits as a sleeve sponsor for both the men’s and women’s teams, with another landmark sponsorship deal also reportedly set to be announced.

Alasdair Gold reported for Football.London (12 September) that the club will enter a five-year tech partnership with Salesforce, and should that prove to be the case, it’s another financial avenue that Daniel Levy has made the most of.

Although the focus of 99 per cent of fans has now firmly switched to on-field action, that hasn’t stopped Levy from exploring new ways to bring new money into Spurs’ financial kitty.

As Ange Postecoglou’s side push to make a long-awaited return to the Champions League at the end of the campaign, taking every step possible to aid with this financially has to be commended.

Levy could have started to pave his way out of the club this summer, which has proven to be some distance from the truth, with several breakthrough deals announced in recent weeks.

On the field, Postecoglou’s side have had a mixed start, to say the least with a draw, win and a loss so far in the Premier League, scoring six goals and conceding three at the other end.

With the transfer window closed, the Australian’s squad is locked in until January at the least, and by the time 2025 comes around, it remains to be seen how Levy’s new financial deals will be utilised.
