Real Madrid are attempting to keep pace with Barcelona at the early stages of this season. They started MD3 two points behind their bitter rivals, and they could be further adrift as they’ve fallen behind early on against Las Palmas.

Carlo Ancelotti opted to make four changes from the side that defeated Real Valladolid on Sunday, and that switch-up could have affected things in the early stages. With only five minutes on the clock, Alberto Moleiro has fired Las Palmas into the lead in Gran Canaria.

It’s a fabulous strike from Moleiro, who will hope that this season is the one that he really broke through and becomes a standout player for Las Palmas. Ancelotti will not be happy with Eder Militao for allowing the stop to come off, but it is exquisite close control from the young midfielder to make the chance.
