Ben Doak could leave Liverpool on loan this week
Speaking on Sky Sports News, reporter Vinny O’Connor confirmed that Ben Doak is attracting interest from Premier League teams, with Liverpool weighing up whether to loan out the winger for the season.
Hailed as special by Liverpool coach Barry Lewtas via the Liverpool Echo, Doak is considered one of the most exciting prospects at Anfield, and a loan move to a Premier League team would make sense for this season.
O’Connor said: “It’s difficult to gauge at the moment because there could be potential outgoings. We look at the situation with Ben Doak and with Chiesa coming in and being so versatile across the front line, it probably makes sense for someone like Ben Doak to go elsewhere for a season on loan.
“We understand there are several clubs looking to take him on a season long loan, clubs in the Premier League and in the Championship. If it’s a deal which suits both player and Liverpool it probably makes sense to get that done.”

With Liverpool close to signing Chiesa and Doak yet to play a minute of professional football for Arne Slot this season, it’s clear that the Scottish international needs a loan move to help with his development.
And with Premier League clubs lining up to sign the Anfield wonderkid for the season, Liverpool need to ensure they can find the right loan move for Doak in the final hours of the transfer window.
Indeed, Doak is one of the most exciting talents Liverpool currently have, and unlocking the winger’s potential could be massive for the Reds in the years to come, especially with Mohamed Salah likely to leave.
