What Real Madrid's president has privately told Ronaldo about Karl Hein at Arsenal

Arsenal loanee Karl Hein has become quite the star already in Spain.

The Estonia international signed a new contract at Arsenal over the summer after he was promised to be sent out on loan in the 2024/25 season.

Many people expected Hein to join a club in the Championship or League One, but out of nowhere, La Liga’s Real Valladolid gave him an opportunity.

Hein agreed and he seems to have made a huge name for himself already – so much so that the president of Real Madrid is talking about him, claims Defensa Central.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez hailed Arsenal’s Karl Hein while speaking to Ronaldo

Real Madrid took on Real Valladolid in La Liga over the weekend and picked up a 3-0 win.

Federico Valverde opened the scoring in the 50th minute before two late goals from Brahim Diaz and Endrick sealed a good win for Carlo Ancelotti’s side.

3-0 is a pretty emphatic scoreline, but Real Madrid could’ve scored at least three more. But, Hein had other ideas in goal.

The Arsenal loanee had an outstanding game for Real Valladolid. He made a total of six saves and kept the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Jr at bay for large parts.

Hein’s performance was so impressive that Defensa Central claims that Florentino Perez, in conversation with the great Brazilian icon Ronaldo, who happens to be the president of Real Valladolid, raved about him.

“He has a good build, a very good goalkeeper,” Perez reportedly told Ronaldo in a private conversation after the game at the weekend.

The Brazil legend, in response, told Perez that Hein is only there on loan and it’s Arsenal who hold all the rights over him beyond the end of this season.

Arsenal need to be careful with Hein

Arsenal deserve a lot of praise for extending Hein’s contract.

It looked almost certain that the Estonian would leave the club on a free transfer this summer, but Edu and Arteta convinced him to stay.

Now, Hein has started his Real Valladolid loan career in tremendous fashion, so much so that he has caught Perez’s eye at Real Madrid.

The Galacticos have Thibaut Courtois and Andriy Lunin in goal right now. The former is 32 already, while the latter will be a free agent next summer.

If Arsenal don’t plan their post-Aaron-Ramsdale strategy properly, there is a small chance Real Madrid or some other club will try and lure Hein away from the Emirates.
