The news outlet reported on 18 August that this was considerably less than what Gers were reportedly told to shell out initially for the Kosovo striker, which was £8million.

Prague thus secured the 23-year-old’s services for £3.75million less than what the Ibrox outfit were initially asked to pay.

Gers’ interest in Rrahmani was no secret and his eventual transfer to Sparta Prague for £4.25million highlights a missed opportunity for the Scottish club.
