Arsenal and Chelsea are just two of the clubs that have been linked with Victor Osimhen in recent months.
The Gunners and the Blues will be eager to strengthen their ranks in order to kick on and go on to achieve great things next term.
Both Arsenal and Chelsea are said to be in pursuit of Osimhen, who has made a name for himself as one of the best strikers in the world.
However, the Gunners and the Blues both risk missing out on the Napoli and Nigeria international, amid links with Paris Saint-Germain.
On Wednesday morning, Fabrizio Romano provided an update on the state of play involving the French giants and Osimhen.

Arsenal and Chelsea target Victor Osimhen has given green light to PSG
Romano, taking to X this morning, said the French giants are advancing in talks with Osimhen’s camp, and the player is also keen on making the move.
Romano then provided a follow-up on Wednesday night, saying Osimhen has given the green light to the move, and contract details are a “work in progress”.
Club-side, negotiations between the two sides are now a “key part of the story”, but the transfer insider stressed that they’re “not easy”.
Arsenal and Chelsea running out of time to swoop for Osimhen
Osimhen has been a revelation for Napoli since his reported £70million move from Lille back in 2020.
Last season, the 25-year-old signed a new contract at Napoli with a reported £113million release clause, but this hasn’t stopped speculation from doing the rounds.
Osimhen has clearly shown that he is “one of the best strikers in the world”, as Joao Cancelo said to Gazzetta dello Sport, via Il Napolista, earlier this year.
He would be an amazing acquisition for either Arsenal or Chelsea, but the two Premier League clubs may be running out of time as PSG continue to make progress in talks.
