Alan Myers has shared that he is “not aware” of any imminent changes in terms of coaching staff and Sean Dyche at Everton.
Responding to a fan via X (2 September) Myers also stated that despite the poor run of form at the start of this season, he hopes that it doesn’t come to that.
This comes after Everton somehow managed to throw away a two-goal lead to lose 3-2 against Bournemouth, with Jamie O’Hara dubbing the club as an “absolute mess” [talkSPORT, 1 September].
Writing on X, Myers said: “Wow, that’s a loaded question.
“In order I’d say yes, not aware of any and let’s hope that doesn’t happen. Hope that helps.”
Everton make Sean Dyche decision
On paper, the summer transfer window looked like a fairly positive one for the Toffees. Dyche managed to welcome several new names to his squad to help bolster his ranks.
The likes of Iliman Ndiaye and former Aston Villa starlet Tim Iroegbunam were two new signings who could hold their heads up high in terms of their performance against Bournemouth.
In fact, when the Senegal international exited the pitch in the 83rd minute, the fans actually gave him a standing ovation before it all fell apart.
Dyche has helped keep Everton in the Premier League since arriving at the club, but the fact that they now find themselves rock bottom of the table is no doubt a cause for concern.
Rory Jennings has even mooted the possible return of David Moyes [31 August, 20:08] which would no doubt be a shock to many around the club.
There’s still plenty of time left in the season but if Dyche wants to keep his job, he’ll have to step up this form and results as soon as possible.
In other Everton news, Sean Dyche must axe this 0% ace who had fewer touches than Jordan Pickford v Bournemouth.
