Rangers are set to confirm the arrivals of Hamza Igamane and Yusuf Kabadayi for a combined fee of £2.5million, according to Ibrox Noise.

The Rangers news website reported on Saturday (22 June) that FAR Rabat striker Igamane, 21, and Bayern Munich winger Kabadayi, 20, have flown into the UK to finalise their moves to the Scottish Premiership giants.

It is understood that after “tense negotiations”, Igamane is due to sign for Rangers for £1.5million with Kabadayi on his way to Ibrox for around £1million despite interest from former Gers boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst, who’s now in charge at Besiktas.

Who are Rangers going to sign in summer transfer window?

Philippe Clement and Nils Koppen have had a very busy start to the summer transfer window.

Oscar Cortes has re-signed on loan with Mohamed Diomande joining permanently after his half-season loan spell.

On top of that, Jefte, Clinton Nsiala and Connor Barron have also been confirmed as new arrivals at Ibrox with the Light Blues once again opting to do their summer transfer business early.

It’s definitely a good move to get players in before the pre-season starts because Clement has quite the rebuild on his hands after John Lundstram, Ryan Jack, Kemar Roofe and Borna Barisic were released.

There are also players who could be shifted on this summer with the likes of Sam Lammers, Jack Butland, James Tavernier and Connor Goldson all being linked with moves away.

It remains to be seen if any of these new arrivals are going to be any good because they’re all unknown quantities in this part of the footballing world, with the exception of Barron, who impressed at Aberdeen last season.

As for more incoming, plenty of players have been linked but there’s a chance things could go quiet after this double arrival so the club can take stock, maybe shift one or two players on, and then re-assess once everyone is back in pre-season training.

In other Rangers news, talks with investors are underway as the Gers continue to assault the transfer market.
