After Dominic Solanke, Tottenham should make 'incredible' £55m winger top priority
What a player...????
Tottenham Hotspur have made three promising additions so far this summer and they aren’t done yet.
Ange Postecoglou is still eager to make a few more reinforcements as he looks to assemble a squad capable of returning to the Champions League.
A striker is thought to be Tottenham’s main focus at this stage with a deal to sign Dominic Solanke being worked on.
After that’s done, they should turn their attention to a Premier League attacker who’d be perfect for Postecoglou.
Tottenham should Pedro Neto top priority
Tottenham are thought to be in the market for a wide player this summer and Federico Chiesa is thought to be under consideration.
Instead of Chiesa, the Lilywhites should allocate those funds toward Wolves’ Pedro Neto, who is thought to be available this summer for around £55m.
The 24-year-old has struggled with injuries, which should be noted, but when he’s fit, there are few better in the Premier League.
Neto, who has been labelled ‘incredible’ per the BBC, would fit Postecoglou’s style of play to a tee, as he excells in one on one duels against the opposition fullback.
Pedro Neto statistics
Neto still managed to register 14 goal contributions last season despite only starting 19 games across all competitions.
His positive showings earned him a call-up to Portugal’s Euro 2024 earlier this summer, so evidently he has great pedigree.
If Spurs do land his signature, it’d be regarded as one of the signings of the summer, sending out a real statement of intent.
In other news, Guglielmo Vicario thinks Tottenham have signed a really ‘good prospect’ this summer.
