Newcastle United returned to winning ways in style after their 4-0 win against Leicester City at St. James’ Park.
A brace from Jacob Murphy alongside goals from Bruno Guimaraes and Alexander Isak led to Eddie Howe’s side bouncing back from their 4-2 defeat against Brentford.
Newcastle were dominant from start to finish, with Murphy initially opening the scoring with a lovely finish into the bottom corner from inside the box.
Guimaraes doubled the hosts’ lead with a routine header from close quarters after Lewis Hall’s header found him in acres of space.
Isak added to Leicester’s misery by scoring a similar goal to the Brazilian and he went on to assist Murphy’s well-taken strike to round off a wonderful day for the Magpies.
