Bruno Fernandes has sent Man United supporters a four-word message after the 20-time champions were held to a 1-1 draw against Chelsea on Sunday (3 November).
The United captain took to Instagram to say, “We wanted more today,” before thanking supporters for their support.
The Portugal international, who was among the United stars heavily criticised by Roy Keane on Sunday, had given his team the lead via the penalty spot in the 70th minute, but Moises Caicedo equalised for the Blues just four minutes later.
The draw continued United’s difficult start to the season, with the Premier League giants having only won three of their opening 10 matches in the division.
United currently sit 13th in the table and trail the top four by six points, with the club having already parted ways with Erik ten Hag.
Ruud van Nistelrooy took charge of United against the Blues and will remain in his interim position until Monday (11 November), when Ruben Amorim officially takes control.
Bruno Fernandes will look to lead Man United moving forward
The attacking midfielder has played all 10 of United’s Premier League games this season, but his penalty against Chelsea marked his first goal of the season in the league.
United will be back in action on Thursday (7 November) in the Europa League against PAOK.
