Celtic are raging about Reo Hatate development

Celtic fans are demanding that Reo Hatate is not dropped again after Brendan Rodgers benched him for their 7-1 loss against Borussia Dortmund

The Scottish giants suffered an embarrassing loss on Tuesday (1 October) in the Champions League, leaving the club 19th in the table.

It marked the second game in a row that the 26-year-old had started on the bench, as he only played 24 minutes against St Johnstone.

The central midfielder has made an impressive start to the season, scoring two goals and providing one assist in 10 appearances.

Rodgers opted to start him on the bench against Dortmund, but the Japan international was brought on at halftime for Paulo Bernardo.

Despite the Hoops failing to get back into the game, fans were impressed by his individual efforts and now want to see more.

Celtic fans were baffled by Reo Hatate being dropped

Celtic fans claimed that he “needs to start” during the next Champions League game, with others stating he was one of the “best players” in the team.

Maybe a lesson learned on Hatate…..
