Celtic fans respond to Kris Boyd 'meltdown' live on air

Celtic fans are revelling in their rivals’ pain following an emphatic victory against Rangers at Parkhead, and Kris Boyd has been their latest target.

The pundit was speaking live on the Sky Sports Football channel following the game as he exploded at Philippe Clement’s side and the running of the club.

In a passionate rant which went on for more than five minutes, the former Ibrox man picked apart the numerous ongoing issues at the club which were compounded by the defeat.

This came immediately after Brendan Rodgers’ side cruised to a 3-0 win thanks to goals from Daizen Maeda, Kyogo Furuhashi and Callum McGregor to keep their unbeaten Old Firm run going.

The Rangers supporters have been left equally fuming following their performance as a video emerged of angry fans after the players returned to Ibrox.

Meanwhile, Celtic fans are enjoying every minute of watching their rivals fall apart while they seem to be coasting towards another trophy-laden season.

Rangers haven’t recorded a victory in the Old Firm since May 2023, and haven’t won at Parkhead since October 2020, with home victories now an expectation for Celtic.

Tensions over at Ibrox have been rising all summer as the gap between the two Glasgow clubs continues to grow wider with each game that passes.

Celtic supporters have flooded to social media following Boyd’s “meltdown” as they continue to gloat and celebrate their emphatic victory.
