'Club sources have...' - Four Lads issue Rangers transfer claim with plenty of activity on cards

Rangers sources have told Four Lads’ Stevie Clifford that plenty of business will be taking place before the end of the window.

In an article for Rangers Review, Clifford wrote that the club have offered reassurances amid the lack of senior and established transfers this summer.

Thus far, Gers have secured the signings of Oscar Cortes, Jefte, Connor Barron, Clinton Nsiala, Liam Kelly and Hamza Igamane.

Four Lads wrote on 13 July: “Rangers still have so much work to undertake this summer. Club sources have offered reassurances that plenty of business will take place between now and the end of the window and that can’t come soon enough.

“That’s all fine and well, but people are tetchy and already miffed at the stadium mess and lack of communication coming out of the club – many are looking ahead to the upcoming season with more than a sense of trepidation.”

Rangers need to act quickly to avoid getting beat to their transfer targets

Gers must act swiftly to secure their transfer targets to avoid losing out to clubs vying for players in a similar price range.

The summer transfer window is a critical period for clubs to strengthen their squads, and delays in negotiations or finalising deals can result in missing out on key players.

This is particularly important for the Ibrox outfit, who are looking to rebuild and compete at the highest level.

By acting quickly, they can secure their preferred targets before other clubs have the opportunity to swoop in and make competing offers.

This is especially crucial given the club’s recent stadium issues and the need to rebuild trust with the fanbase.

A proactive approach to the transfer market can help Gers demonstrate their ambition and commitment to success, which can help to appease disgruntled fans and set the club on a positive trajectory for the upcoming season.

In other Rangers news, the club are expected to intensify their pursuit to sign Lawrence Shankland after a recent transfer development.
