Sam Avery expects Sean Dyche to be sacked by Everton in a “couple of weeks”.

Dyche is under intense pressure at Goodison Park with the Toffees having won just twice in the Premier League this season.

As a result, it recently emerged that Moyes is being lined up for a return to Goodison Park by Dan Friedkin and the Friedkin Group [via Alan Nixon on Patreon, 24 November].

With Friedkin expected to complete his Everton takeover by mid-December [via Alan Myers, 21 November], Avery has suggested that Dyche’s time with the Toffees might be over.

While speaking live on talkSPORT [26 November, 1:55 pm], the comedian said, “I think Dyche’s time at Everton should come to an end soon.

“It does feel like the new owners when they come in, and we’re hearing rumours that might be as quick as a couple of weeks away, he’s [Dyche] going to go.”

Dan Friedkin to sack Sean Dyche at Everton?

There is no doubt that Dyche has been working with his hands tied behind his back during the majority of his time at Everton.

Therefore, supporters should be grateful that the 53-year-old has managed to keep the club in the Premier League over the past few seasons under incredibly difficult circumstances, circumstances which were largely out of Dyche’s control.

However, that is no excuse for some of the club’s abysmal performance this season, with the Toffees struggling, particularly going forward.

At a time when the club needs a lift, it feels as though Dyche’s tactics are doing the opposite, with Everton now a painfully boring outfit to watch.

It feels as though the ex-Burnley boss has taken this team as far as he can. As a result, once Friedkin does come in, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Dyche moved on as the American looks to usher in a new era on Merseyside.

However, whatever happens, Dyche at least deserves respect after everything he has done for the club.
