Done Deal: Rangers teenager secures out-of-window move to join British club on loan

Rangers youth defender Grieg Allen has completed a loan move to join Scottish League Two side Bonnyrigg Rose, the club have confirmed.

The Ibrox outfit announced on 30 September, via their official website, that the 19-year-old has left until the end of the season.

The centre-back moved to Ibrox back in 2021 from Hearts and will now be hoping to gain first-team experience.

Allen’s loan move to Bonnyrigg is pivotal for his development because it offers him the opportunity to experience first-team football in a competitive environment, which is fundamentally different from playing in B Team matches.

If he performs exceptionally, Philippe Clement may also request reports be sent to him to track his progress.
