'Easily': Manager says £21m-rated Euro 2024 forward linked with Spurs would shine at Arsenal, he's 'very special'

Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are likely to be busy in the summer transfer window as they look to improve on last season.

Spurs did a lot better in 2023/24 than they did the season before, but fifth place proved a consolation after being in the top-four running for much of the campaign.

Likewise, the Gunners have improved with each passing season, but the Premier League title eluded them once again last term.

Therefore, both Tottenham and Arsenal will be eager to strengthen their ranks in pursuit of success in the league and cups.

And though Spurs and the Gunners already have good front lines, there’s certainly scope to improve their quality in attack.

Now, a Euro 2024 rising star who has recently been linked with Tottenham has been tipped to become good enough to play for Arsenal and a host of other huge clubs.

Tottenham target Baris Alper Yilmaz tipped to ‘easily play’ for Arsenal

The player in question is Baris Alper Yilmaz, who plies his trade for Galatasaray and is representing Turkey at Euro 2024.

Turkish football journalist Ugur Karakullukcu recently claimed on YouTube that Gunners scouts watched the 24-year-old in action against the Czech Republic.

Now, Gaziantep manager Selcuk Inan has told NutSpor – via Miligazette – that Yilmaz already has what it takes to shine at Premier League level.

And with some improvements with regards to his final ball, he could then “easily play” for the likes of Arsenal.

He said: “I think Baris Alper Yilmaz can play very comfortably for many teams in the Premier League at the moment. He’s a very special player. We worked a lot together.

“If Baris Alper improves himself with his final ball, he can easily play for the best clubs in the world such as Barcelona, Real Madrid, Liverpool and Arsenal.

“He’s a player with a lot of potential. Hopefully, he will get that chance and represent them.”

Arsenal should consider joining Tottenham in Yilmaz pursuit

Arsenal already have a strong front line, but no club can rest on their laurels when it comes to identifying and signing top talents.

Yilmaz has already proven himself for Galatasaray and is now starting to show what he can do at a major international tournament.

CaughtOffside have reported that Galatasaray have placed a price tag of around £21million on Yilmaz, which would be affordable for an Arsenal or Tottenham.

And considering there have already been comparisons between Yilmaz and Spurs star Son Heung-min, this should certainly pique the interest of the likes of Arsenal and other top clubs.

With Euro 2024 in full swing, it’ll be exciting to see what other top talents make names for themselves and emerge as targets for the likes of Tottenham and Arsenal.

Both Spurs and the Gunners have been linked with a host of exciting talents in recent months, and come deadline day, it would be good to see both of their squads strengthened considerable.
