Report: 'Messi-esque' winger not interested in joining Crystal Palace, he wants to sign for Tottenham instead

A talented winger is not interested in making the switch to Crystal Palace this summer amidst interest from Tottenham Hotspur, according to a recent report.
Tottenham have been linked with a whole host of players this summer as Ange Postecoglou looks to reshape and assemble a squad capable of challenging at the summit of the Premier League table.
There are expected to be a number of summer exits to facilitate incomings with Emerson Royal the latest name linked with a move away.
Now, it has just come to light, that a rumoured target isn’t keen on a move to Palace, giving the North Londoners a major boost in their pursuit of his signature.
Marcus Edwards not interested in Crystal Palace move
According to Portuguese outlet Record, Sporting winger Marcus Edwards is attracting interest from Crystal Palace.
The ‘Messi-esque’ attacker, as quoted by Birmingham World, has been linked with a move to his former club Tottenham in recent weeks but now Palace have entered the picture.
However, it’s thought Edwards isn’t keen on a switch to Selhurst Park this summer and instead preferrers a move to Spurs.
The 25-year-old would be enthusiastic about a second spell in North London, though, it remains to be seen if Postecoglou’s chiefs will meet his £25m asking price.

He ranks in the top four per cent for shot-creating actions per 90 compared to his positional peers across Europe.
Further, the 25-year-old ranks in the top five per cent for progressive carries, amplifying his terrific dribbling ability.
Edwards netted six goals whilst laying on nine assists for Sporting last term and appears ready for a move back to the Premier League.
